Food waste disposal operation:

1-- Put food waste into the grinding chamber room firstly. Turn on the water and then press the air switch button to run the food waste disposal.

2-- Within a few minutes, all the food waste will be grinded into small particles, smaller than 2.5mm.

3-- Press the air switch again to turn off the disposal when there is no voice of impact. Keep the water run for another one or two minutes after the disposal is off.

4-- Congratulations! All your food waste has been disposed.

Garbage disposal maintainance:

Your food waste disposer is ruggedly built to give you many years of trouble free service, but the following items shouldn’t be grinded in the disposal:

Expandable food: include spaghetti and rice as they’ll expand with water. These should just go into the trash can immediately.

Non-food materials: include clams, oyster shells, glass, plastic, metal.

Aluminum items: tin covers, bottle caps, etc.

Chemicals (bleach, drain cleaners) are also an absolutely no.

Anything stringy: items which are high in fiber, corn husks, banana peels, garlic ends, onion/leek ends, carrot ends, peach/apricot/prune pits, small (or any) bones, tea bags, coffee filters, paper towels, paper napkins.

The bigger the garabge disposal is, the more powerful its grinding ability is. So if you really want to put all food waste into the disposal to dispose, buy a big Dengshang garbage disposal (1hp, or at least 3/4hp), which could easily grind up almost everything food waste.
